3/19-20 Philly and 3/26-27 RPI

Race reports soon to come...look forward to my first road crash, an awesome ITT, and watching my teammates have some incredible races

Edit: Was too busy, never got around to writing these. Here are some brief summaries:

Philly: 3/19-3/20: Was feeling sick for most of the week, starting to get a bit better but lower-energy than usual and not feeling strong.
TTT: 6.2 mile TTT w/ womens A's (dropped voluntarily on last hill)
Circuit: Doing pretty well until dropped on hill on second/3 loops, tried so frantically to catch back on that I didn't pay attention to a sharp curve (the same one that I marshaled only a few hours earlier!) and crashed rather badly, tearing up my arms and chin. Not very fun...
Crit (Sunday): 50 min, 6th/18, pretty good race, feeling much better

RPI: 3/26-3/27
ITT: 5 miles, 2nd place in women's B!
Circuit: 38 miles, dropped chain and fell (gently) at mile 16, which was sad because I was in the lead group at that point. After that, essentially a 22-mile ITT since everyone who I passed was going too slowly but couldn't catch back on to the main pack. Surprisingly, ended up 6/18 B riders
Crit: The course was quite short and fast, and they ended up pulling over half the B field within the first 20 minutes, which was frustrating even though it might have been necessary for safety. For such short crits as that, it would be nice if they raced separate A and B fields, because the only B riders who stayed in were the ones who happened to (by luck or ability) be right with the A group when they broke away early on.
